the newest song on this album. It developed considerably as it was being recorded. I had no idea what it was about when I wrote it, and I still don't to be perfectly honest. But I think it's about change. Very influenced by Radiohead and R.E.M.
a clean slate a twist of fate can’t help the feeling I got here a bit too late where will you go when your time is gone and the sunlight is no more flying around the lake letting go of all your mistakes fall into the well the angels only can tell where you will be tonight or tomorrow… but around the corner closer to the border there will be a strange new toy behind the mirror a reflection of your face floats to space… you are the one I see all forgiveness comes back to me apples from a tree floating upon the sea and you’re flirting with disaster… but around the corner closer to the border the light reflects on a strange toy daylight ever faster I blink and it is gone until the dawn covers my eyes… where will you go when your time is gone and the sunlight is no more fall into the well the angels only can tell where you will be tonight or tomorrow
