Hello all! It's been a long time since the last entry. Some very special events contribute to the delay. I bought a house with my fiancee, and then married my fiancee shortly after. So very happy times indeed!

After a fun, relaxing honeymoon in London (some pics to come soon), the creative juices are starting to flow again. Working on some new music, new lyrics, some coalescing into new songs. I'm also reworking some old songs that were put aside during the last recording session that made the EP After The Dawn. That EP, incidentally, is now available for purchase at CD Baby - download or CD! As far as the new songs, ideas are flowing about how to present them to the world, there will be more to come...

A new recording of mine, an EP called After The Dawn is now available on CD Baby! Go here and check it out: cdbaby.com/briandilts2

Happy news! I have recieved copies of my new EP, entitled After The Dawn. So I can now officially announce the release! After The Dawn, a 5-song EP, will be released on CDBaby.com on or around Monday Feb. 2. There you will be able to either buy the physical CD or download the full EP (mp3). So on Feb. 2, or maybe a little before, check http://cdbaby.com/briandilts and take a listen to samples and then either buy the CD or mp3 version (which will include album art)! Additionally, I am now streaming the first two songs right on my website, without having to stay on the same page. As long as you are navigating through briandilts.com the music will continue to stream. You can always hit "stop", but I wouldn't recommend it. Also, if you like myspace, go to my myspace page and you can hear EVERY song from the...

...officially. I have been into music podcasts lately and came across this one, maybe you already have. http://podingtonbear.com/ He writes and records three songs a week and puts them into a weekly podcast. How cool? Brian
(I'll be doing a blog a day on my Blogger http://briandilts.blogspot.com, and posting it here too) Well, it's the first entry I've done in a while. I've been busy getting back to work, that is, my teaching and accompanying position at Drexel University. Working on a bunch of new songs, in preparation for perhaps another album. I want to improve on the first one, and so I know I'll be taking more time on this one than the last. On my first album, I played and sang everything. That was a great experience. For this next one I will need to wear more preverbial hats. I want this album to have more than the modest exposure Outside Looking In has gotten. So after I've emerged from my preproduction and begin recording in earnest, I will probably utilize other musicians than myself. Any string players, guitarists, and drummers please take note... Meanwhile...

I have a new blog on Google. This is a place where I can expand my horizons and talk about other things - I've linked it from the homepage. But here is the link... http://briandilts.blogspot.com/ Enjoy! Brian P.S. It's been a busy year, but a show schedule is coming very very very soon. You'll see it here and on my google blog.
Well, it's been a while since I've updated this page, but a lot's happened since the last entry! I'm making my internet radio debut on Indie 104, an independant internet radio station based in LA. here's the site: http://iradio.servemp3.com/playlistB.html I've done a couple appearances in Philly. One at Lickity Split on 4th and South and the other at Grape Street in Manayunk. More shows will be scheduled soon! Finally, I am beginning preliminary work on my next album, to be produced by the one and only Mike Worth, and set for an early 2008 release. Some lyrics are up in my "music and lyrics" section. Let me know what you think! Enjoy the lovely (but very hot) weekend! Brian

Well, thanks to everyone who came out to the concert for the premier performance of my songs last night. It was a success, though I had some sound issues. They didn't have both piano and vocal coming out of the same speaker and my vocal level was very low. Also I felt like I was playing for a black screen - I could see NOBODY, not even people in the front row. That just felt weird to me. Maybe because in the past I've done vocal accompanying in that theater it didn't seem weird then. But when YOU'RE singing, you certainly lose the intimacy when you can't see anyone. But for all that, it still went extremely well. The other faculty performers were fantastic. If you didn't make it out to this one, I strongly suggest coming out to the next one, whenever it may be. I have a...
